Stone, Jon, 1983-
Variant namesJon Stone, who won 18 Emmy awards for his work in television, was the writer, producer and director of CAPTAIN KANGAROO, CBS's award-winning series for children that began in 1955.
He was later the original head writer and an original producer for SESAME STREET and served as its principal director until a year before his death in 1997.
