The New York Bible Society was founded in 1809, and merged with the Auxiliary New-York Bible Society in 1819. It was dissolved in 1828.

The New York City Bible Society was established in 1829 and dissolved in 1832.

The Young Men's New York Bible Society was established in 1823 and became the New York Bible Society in 1839, the New York International Bible Society in 1970, and later the International Bible Society.

The New York Marine Bible Society was absorbed by the New York Bible Society in 1840.
