Mariposa Education and Research Foundation.
The Mariposa Education and Research Foundation was founded to educate the public and its leaders about human sexuality and to bridge the gap between the accurate information known to researchers and the sexual beliefs held by most other Americans. For its libraries, it collected periodicals and other publications, personal files, legal documents, notes, manuscripts, clippings, and films pertaining to all aspects of human sexuality, and to the gay and lesbian experience in particular.
