Joseph Taylor (b. March 16, 1745/1746 in Boston, Massachusetts; d. December 14, 1816, also in Boston) was a member of the Harvard Class of 1765. He distinguished himself as a scholar at Harvard, and delivered the main oration at the dedication of Hollis Hall, the funeral oration for Professor Wigglesworth, and the English oration at his Commencement. He was a loyalist who spent much of his life in London, although late in life he lived in Boston, where he died.
