UT CARE Program.
In 1972 the University of Texas, Department of Special Education offered for the first time a multimedia three-hour credit course called Computer Assisted Remedial Education (CARE) taught only on the computer.
The CARE Program was partially imported from Penn State. The course was first used as an adjunct for research, and only once as a stand-alone course.
