Western Australian Theatre Company
The National Theatre Company was established in 1956 with the amalgamation of the Perth Repertory Club (est. 1919) and the Company of Four. Liquidated in 1984, at which time its building was taken over by the Perth Theatre Trust and renamed the Playhouse Theatre. In 1985 the name was changed to the Western Australian Theatre Company, which itself was disbanded in 1990.
