Mills, William Wirt, 1867-1946
Variant namesWilliam H. Mills was the son of Joseph and Isabelle Mills. He was raised in Story County, Iowa, and farmed near Nevada and Ames. He married Adda Mills in 1891, and they had 3 children: Harry, Sadie, and Marie. In addition to farming, Mills was a subscription agent for Wallace's Farmer and occasionally sold furs.
