Kuh, Gertrude, 1893-1977.
Gertrude Eisendrath received a degree from the Lowthorpe School of Horticulture and Landscape Design in Groton, Mass. in 1917. She apprenticed with Ellen Biddle Shipman in Mass. and then moved to Chicago in 1921. In 1942 she married George Kuh. From the 1930s to the 1970s she designed at least 400 gardens and landscapes.
