Allen, Louise, 1903-
Born December 28, 1903 at Childress, Texas. Received her B. A. from Southern Methodist University in 1924 and her M. A. from the University of Missouri in 1949. Married James G. Allen in 1928 and had one son, James, Jr. Began teaching in Texas Technological College Journalism Department in 1930. Taught agriculture and home economics journalism courses. Published her "Lipstick Logic" column in area newspapers from 1947 to 1975. Retired from teaching in 1963.
