Montgomery, Florence M.
Variant namesFlorence M. Montgomery was Assistant Curator of Textiles at the Henry Francis du Pont Winterthur Museum and textile consultant at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She was the author of numerous works, including "Printed Textiles: English and American Cottons and Linens, 1700-1850" and "Textiles in America, 1650-1870." Montgomery was often called upon to lecture at and advise other institutions. She was married to Charles F. Montgomery.
