St. Philip's Church (New York, N.Y.)
Church located in Harlem, New York. Actively involved in community affairs, the church, founded in 1810, traces its origins to Trinity Church in lower Manhattan. Hutchens Chew Bishop served as rector of the Church from 1886-1933, his son Shelton Hale Bishop was rector from 1933-1957, and M. Moran Weston served as rector from 1957 until 1982.
