Arthur C. Hall (1909-2005) earned his bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from Stanford University in 1929. Hall worked and consulted for a number of mining companies throughout his career, most notably with the American Smelting and Refining Company. As an administrator with ASARCO Hall oversaw mining operations in Mexico (1930s-1950s) and Peru (1950s).
