An association of a dozen or more Massachusetts firms in different industries, organized to exchange information of mutual interest, which maintained a Boston office under the direction of R.L. Tweedy. Companies represented include the American Optical Company, Browne and Sharpe Manufacturing Company, Dennison Manufacturing Company, Eastern Manufacturing Company, Ginn and Company, Graton and Knight Company, Helburn Thompson, Hood Rubber Company, Kendall Mills, Inc., Lewis Manufacturing Company, Nashua Manufacturing Company, Norton Company, Strathmore Paper Company, Universal Winding, Walworth Company, Inc., and the Whitin Machine Works. The Harvard Business School was also represented.
