Woman's Improvement Club (Indianapolis, Ind.)
Established in Indianapolis in 1905, the club's mission was the "mutual improvement of its members, the care of tubercular persons, and all other uplift work." It was especially active in caring for black tuberculosis patients and established an outdoor camp in 1905. In more recent years the club has focused on educational projects and charity work, and is a member of the Indiana State Federation of Colored Women's Clubs.
