Lycoming County Industrial Union Council (Pa.)

Located at 304 Fourth Street in Williamsport, Pa., during the 1940s, the Lycoming County Industrial Union Council included, among others, representatives of the following local unions: Textile Workers Union of America (TWUA), United Autoworkers (UAW) and the International Union of Electrical Workers (IUE). The Lycoming County Industrial Union Council is now part of the AFL-CIO affiliated Five County United Labor Council, based in Lewisburg, Pa. The AFL-CIO and its affiliated unions re-established the Industrial Union Council in May 2002.
