Bock, John W.

John W. Bock was born on May 3, 1916 in Sidney, MT to Cyrus E. and Ruth Link Bock. After graduating from Sidney High School, John attended business school in Chillicothe, MO of one year. He enlisted in the United States Army February 1, 1941 and served overseas in the Pacific Theatre and New Hebrides Islands. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army at Fort Lewis, WA on September 28, 1945. John returned to Sidney where he married Hilda Louise Muecke on January 6, 1951. He worked in Sidney as a cabinet maker and worker. He and Hilda have three daughters Phyllis Ann, Ruth Page, and Patricia Maureen.
