Moore, Alison.
Alison Moore (1896-1989) graduated from Louisiana State University (B.A., 1929; M.A., 1931; B.S. in Library Science, 1933) and was a librarian at LSU from 1929 to 1958. An historian of the Civil War, she is the author of: Old Bob Wheat, High Private (Baton Rouge: Ortlieb, 1957); The Louisiana Tigers (Baton Rouge: Ortlieb, 1961); and Sixty '60s (Baton Rouge: Ortlieb, 1984).
