Livingston, Henry Farrand, 1843-1913.

Dr. Henry Farrand Livingston (1843-1913), went to Dakota in 1865 from Davenport, Iowa, and settled in Yankton. He was surgeon at the Crow Creek Agency from 1867 to 1870 when he became the Indian Agent there. In 1878 a squad of United States Soldiers siezed the agency and arrested Livingston. He was eventually exonerated on all charges.
