Career: Practicing architect, Dessau and Hamburg, 1928-31; Assistant Architect, Office of Le Corbusier, Paris, 1932-33; architectural and industrial photographer, Stockholm, 1933-39; freelance photojournalist, with Black Star Photo Agency, New York, 1940-41; War Correspondent/Photographer, United States Office of War Information, 1941-42; Staff Photographer, Life magazine, New York, 1943-62. Freelance photographer, New York and Connecticut, since 1962. Instructor in Creative Photocommunications, New York University, 1972.
