Established in 1942 with David Dallwitz as Chairman, Douglas Roberts as Vice-Chairman and Max Harris as Secretary. Ordinary members were Dorritt Black, Shirley Adams, Jacqueline Hick, Ruth Tuck, Ivor Francis, Jeffrey Smart and Vic Adolfssen.
