Town and Gown Council.
The Town and Gown Council was founded in 1982 to plan and host functions for both entertainment and education in order to strengthen relationships between the University of Central Florida and the greater Orlando community by drawing attention to academic, artistic, and athletic developments at UCF. In 1989 it established a scholarship for non-traditional students at UCF.
