Burnet family.
Robert Burnet (1762-1854), grandson of Robert Burnet who settled in the Little Britain area in 1729, was an officer during the American Revolution, original member of the Society of Cincinnai, and held several political offices in the Town of New Windsor. He married Rachel DeWitt, sister of Moses DeWitt.
