Boardman, George Dana, 1828-1903
Variant namesBoardman was pastor of the First Baptist Church of Philadelphia for thirty years (ca. 1865-1894) and a trustee of the University of Pennsylvania. In November of 1888 he was asked by the University of Pennsylvania to offer a series of "Sunday Afternoon Addresses upon Religious Topics." His topic was the Ten Commandents, and his lectures were published in 1889 by the American Baptist Publication Society as "The Ten Commandments: A Course of Lectures Delivered Before The University of Pennsylvania."
