New York (N.Y.). Mayor (1978-1989 : Koch). Arson Strike Force.
The Arson Strike Force was established by Local Law No. 23 of 1978. Chaired by the Criminal Justice Coordinator and constituted of representatives of the departments of Fire, Police, Finance, Human Resources, and Housing Preservation and Development and supporting staff, the force coordinates the anti-arson activities of City agencies.
