Miller, James B., 1834 or 1835-1864
Variant namesJames B. Miller was a member of Company E, 20th Iowa Regular Volunteers and fought in Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. Miller died 11 Jan. 1864, at Aransas Pass, Tex., at the age of twenty-nine. Sallie Gyger Newlin married Joshua G. Embree on 18 Nov. 1869 and they had two children. She died 27 May 1919.
