Stratton, Anna M., 1812-1895?
In 1889 Anna M. Stratton came to Spokane Falls to be near her son, the Reverend Howard W. Stratton, and her grandchildren. She left Michigan and went to St. Paul, MN, where she met her son-in-law, J.J. Browne, a Spokane Falls banker. Together they traveled to Washington Territory via the Northern Pacific Railroad. In Spokane Falls she became involved in church affairs, but she mainly spent her time with various members of the family.
