Moore, Samuel Preston, 1710-1785
Variant namesSamuel Preston Moore, Philadelphia, Pa., physician, was born in 1710. He married Hannah Hill on 12 Aug. 1739. Moore was a consultant to the Pennsylvania Hospital and the hospital's treasurer. He also held positions as Trustee of the General Loan Office and Pennsylvania's Provinical Treasurer. Moore died on 15 July 1785.
