General merchandise firm located in Salt Lake City on the corner of East Temple and First South streets.
Owners listed in an 1869 gazetteer were John B. Kimball and H.W. Lawrence. At some point John B. Kimball must have died, because in 1874 the store's owners are listed at Mrs. John Kimball and H.W. Lawrence. In 1884, Henry W. Lawrence appears as the sole proprietor of the firm, which by then dealt in mining and insurance. An 1890 gazetteer no longer includes the firm, but lists Henry W. Lawrence's occupation as real estate and insurance and notes that he was also a receiver of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
