Variant namesDavid Rothenberg (b. 1921) was raised in the Collinwood neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. During World War II he served in the merchant marine, leaving the service in 1946 with the rank of Lieutenant, J.G. He then worked for thirty-eight years as an electrician in Greater-Cleveland. He is married to the former Natalie Covit and lives in University Heights, Ohio.
