Lambdin family.
Rachel Wilbur Lambdin ( - ) was a young widow who, with her two daughters, Sarah H. ( - ) and Catherine H. ( - ), moved to Florence, Pa., in 1834. Determined to be self-supporting, she established the Rural Seminary, a school for girls.
