Jefferson County (Ill.). County Commissioners Court.
Office newly formed by the state legislature, with Zadock Casey, Fleming Greenwood and Joseph Jordan elected, on April 20, 1819, as the first County Commissioners for Jefferson County the first Commissioners Court met at the house of William Casey on June 7, 1819, where they first oversaw appointments and elections for offices in the court.
