Edward F. Crawford was a prominent lawyer, politician, and judge from Oswego, New York. He began practicing law in Oswego in 1945 and became the County Attorney in 1951. He served as County Attorney until 1956, when he was elected to the New York State Assembly. As an Assemblyman he served on the Judiciary Committee (1956-1973), and the Banks, Ethics, and Guidance Committee. He was later elected to the New York State Supreme Court.
