Charles Rosewater, Class of 1894, went to California quite often and was friendly with Burbank. In 1913 he was the publisher of the "Nebraska Farmer" as well as the "Omaha Bee," then a prominent mid-western newspaper, extinct since the early 1920's. Mr. Rosewater also wrote an article in 1930 "The Year There Were Two Cornell Suns" for "A Half Century at Cornell" (reprinted in "A Century at Cornell" (p.163).
