John Aloysius Vannelli attended school in St. Paul, Minn., then went to Maryknoll Preparatory School (Scranton, Penn.). He was employed at the Zinsmaster Bakery in St. Paul and served in various union activities. In 1949, he became vice-president of the Bankers' Union. After retirement, he became a member of the Senior Citizens league. Vannelli was an active member of Stella del Nord.
