Portland, Vancouver, and Yakima Railway Company.
Incorporated in 1897 under the laws of Washington State, the company operated a line between Vancouver and Yacolt (Wash.). It purchased the Vancouver, Klickitat and Yakima Railroad Company in 1897, but all capital stock was owned by the Northwestern Improvement Company. It was consolidated with the Washington and Oregon Railway Company to form the Washington Railway and Navigation Company in 1903.
