Crocheron, Mabel Preston, b. 1887.

Crocheron was accepted by the National War Council of the Young Men's Christian Association for service in October 1918. She arrived in France after the November Armistice, and served in Le Havre until July 1919. She was a native of Gadsden, Alabama and attended Agnes Scott College. In 1920 she was appointed as Alabama's first woman county probation officer.
