Garro, Elena.
Variant namesElena Garro is a Mexican novelist, short story writer, and playwright. She was married to the Nobel laureate poet Octavio Paz for over twenty years, and is the mother of Helena Paz Garro (1948?- ), a published poet in French and Spanish.
