Alice L. O'Donnell (b. Oct. 7, 1914, Stanford, Wash.-d. Jan. 5, 1993, Washington, D.C.) began her career in Washington, D.C., as secretary to U.S. Attorney General Tom C. Clark. She was a graduate of George Washington University and its law school, and went on to be the director of the Judicial Administration Division of the Federal Judicial Center. She retired as director of Inter-judicial Affairs at the Center in 1990. She was a founder and officer of the Supreme Court Historical Society, and served as chairman of the judicial administration division of the American Bar Association.
