Hispanic Federation for Social and Economic Development (Philadelphia, Pa.)
In 1982 the Federation obtained a contract with public welfare officials to provide social services to Spanish-speaking children and their families. The Federation program employed several social workers who offered casework services, life skills, information, referrals, and advocacy assistance to families in North Philadelphia.
