Hadley, Benjamin, 1684-1776
Variant namesPierrepont, named for its proprietor Hezekiah B[eers] Pierrepont, was formed in 1818. Hezekiah Pierrepont (1768-1838) resided in New Haven, Connecticut and then Brooklyn, New York where he had a distillery and real estate. He made annual visits to his land holdings in Lewis County, New York. In 1802 he married Anna Maria the daughter of William Constable.
