Charles Davies was an engineer for the Roosevelt Dam construction and for the Old Dominion Mining Company. Walter J. Lubken, an early Mesa, Arizona photographer, was the official photographer for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in Arizona from the construction of Roosevelt Dam to the construction of Hoover Dam.
