Richard Wallace Cook (1907-1992) was an engineer at the Oak Ridge Nuclear facility from 1944 to 1951. He served as Deputy General Manager of the Atomic Energy Commission from 1951 to 1958, and was an executive for the American Machine and Foundry Company from 1958 to 1964. From 1964 to 1973 Cook was an executive of the Marshall Space Flight Center at NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration).
