Missionary, educator; born on September 29, 1912; completed Christian education course at Moody Bible Institute; taught Navajo Indians in New Mexico, 1941-1944; attended Wheaton College, receiving a B.A. (1945) and M.A. (1958); worked with The Evangelical Alliance Mission in India: principal of an orphanage and girls' school (1948-1950); principal of a boarding school for children (1950-1957), assistant professor and director of the library at the Union Biblical Seminary in India (1958-1970).
