Shadrach Nicholas Winkler, Jr. (1834-1858) was the youngest child born to Shadrach and Janet McFarland Winkler in Savannah, Georgia. He attended the University of New York and graduated in 1855 and then continued his education at the Harvard Law School from which he graduated in 1858. Winkler practiced law at 175 Bay Street in Savannah, Georgia until he died of yellow fever on 17 September 1858. He is buried in the Laurel Grove Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia.
