Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity. New Hampshire Epsilon Chapter (University of New Hampshire)

Hide Profile

The Nu Sigma Mu local fraternity was established at the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts in 1922. They were installed as the Epsilon chapter of Theta Kappa Phi national fraternity in 1924. The College became the University of New Hampshire in 1923. In 1959, Theta Kappa Phi united with another national fraternity, Phi Kappa, to make Phi Kappa Theta. All of the chapters of both fraternities were given new charters to relect the new organization. The New Hampshire Epsilon chapter lost membership during the 1970's and its charter was revoked in 1976. However, a renewed interest in the fraternity brought about the reinstatement of the Epsilon chapter in 1984.
