David Hunter Hubel (b. 1926) is John Enders University Professor of Neurobiology, Emeritus, at Harvard Medical School. In 1981, Hubel was co-recipient with Torsten Wiesel of the 1981 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, for their discoveries concerning information processing in the visual system.
