Moore, William Van Buren.
William Van Buren Moore, a native of Halifax County, Virginia, attended Wake Forest College, 1859-61. He served in the 20th Virginia Inf. and with Penick's Battery during the Civil War. He was later a planter in South Boston, Virginia.
