Evangelides, Christodoulos.
Evangelides was probably born in Thessalonikē. As an orphan, he was taken to the U.S. and educated at the Mt.-Pleasant Classical Institution in Amherst, Mass. (1830-1832). After 15 years in the U.S., he returned to Greece and founded a school in Hermoúpolis.
