Momentum.
Momentum was created in October, 1987 as the result of a series of meetings of Spokane businessmen during 1986.
These "tough-minded optimists", including David Clack, then president of the Old National Bank, William H. Cowles, 3rd, publisher of "The Spokesman Review and Spokane Chronicle", and others came together to seek ways to brighten the Spokane area's economic prospects.
