Barco, Yolanda G., 1926-2000.
Yolanda G. Barco was an attorney for the cable television industry. In 1953 she was named general manager of Meadville Master Antenna (MMA), a cable television system owned by her father, George J. Barco. She was a founding member of the Pennsylvania Community Antenna Television Association, Inc., later called the Pennsylvania Cable Television Association and was the first woman to head a state cable television industry association. Yolanda Barco was instrumental in creating the first educational cable network - PENNARAMA, which later was named the Pennsylvania Cable Network.
